Our History

Founded in 1893 Killarney Golf & Fishing Club is steeped in history and is widely known as one of the most historic golfing venues in Ireland. Killarney Golf & Fishing Club has had the privilege of hosting many high-profile events such as four Irish Opens (1991, 1992, 2010 & 2011), along with the European Amateur Team Championship, the Curtis Cup, the Ladies Open Championship and many more great events.

Clubhouse

The Clubhouse at Killarney Golf & Fishing Club is the life and soul of the golf club. The Clubhouse itself is home to a recently renovated Professional Shop, our famous Bar & Restaurant and other facilities such as state of the art changing rooms, including a sauna and gym, but most importantly it’s where our highly trained and friendly staff are located to serve your every need.

Golf Academy

The Golf Academy and practice facilities at Killarney Golf & Fishing Club are one of the best in the country. Based at our onsite golf academy Mark is and Advanced PGA Professional and specialises in coaching, custom fitting and club repair.
