As your 2021 Captains, we welcome Killarney Golf & Fishing Club members back to what will hopefully be a permanent return to golf. We look forward to meeting you all on the fairways and hope you all enjoy your golf from next Monday 26th April!
We thank you all as members for your patience in these challenging times and for renewing your membership which has been a great financial support to the golf club. We hope we will be given the green light to return to competitive golf in the near future. We also respectfully ask for your continuing support and cooperation with adhering to the guidelines for booking and playing golf. This will facilitate everyone’s safe enjoyment of their golf, and help the Golf team to carry out the club operations smoothly for everyone’s benefit.
Both the Men’s and Ladies’ committees have been working hard in the background preparing for the return to golf. A full calendar of events has been prepared for the remainder of the golfing year.
We send our thanks to the Golf club team and welcome back those who were not working during the recent lockdown. Once government guidelines permit, we look forward to hosting our major competitions in 2021.
