Killarney Golf & Fishing Club is delighted to announce that our esteemed member, Tom Doherty, has been selected to represent the Irish Team at the prestigious 2024 European Team Championship for Golfers with Disability. This incredible achievement is a testament to Tom’s dedication, skill, and resilience, and we couldn’t be prouder to see him donning the green colours on the international stage.
The European Team Championship, which will take place at the Hosel Golf Club in Düsseldorf, Germany, brings together the finest golfers with disabilities from across the continent. This event not only highlights the competitive spirit of these remarkable athletes but also showcases the inclusive nature of the game of golf. Tom’s selection is a reflection of his exceptional talent, as well as his tireless efforts both on and off the course. It’s a moment of great pride for Killarney Golf & Fishing Club to have one of our own representing Ireland in such a significant event.
